Co-Director: 643 A Project Space, Ventura, CA. 8/09 to 8/10
Facilitate the day to day operations of a working nonprofit art gallery and studio space. Communicate with artists to establish their objectives. Co-curate art works. Prepare gallery space for art openings / closing. Write contracts in sales of art pieces. Write and direct monthly press releases and statements to art magazines, online publications, and prospective participants. Educate attendees about featured artists and their works. Promote the gallery within the scope of a nonprofit organization.

Intern: Artamo Gallery- Santa Barbara, CA. 1/09 to 5/09
Assisted with installation of a working art gallery, assisted in record keeping and research of current trends of high profile buyers and prospective clientele, cataloging of contemporary resident fine artists works through style, past sales trends, and subject matter, practiced proper preservation of delicate art pieces in display as well as storage
Children’s Art Instructor: Villa Victoria Community Center- Oxnard, CA 09/08 to 12/08
Taught art lessons in a government subsidized housing project. Students were the children of immigrant farm workers- ranging from ages 4-14. Created and directed dynamic lesson plans that were adaptable to all age groups. Curated end of season art show for the purpose of sharing student artwork with their families.

Intern: Nathan Larramendy Gallery- Ojai, CA. Summer 2008
Assisted with packaging and shipping of art. Prepared walls, lighting, and gallery space for exhibitions. Installed and broke down shows. Located and organized media coverage of the gallery for archival. Light bookkeeping and secretary work.
